Los Olivos Marketplace—the revamped shopping mall near Irvine Spectrum that will now have Whole Foods as its anchor—is hosting a grand opening celebration this Saturday, March 19, from noon to 4 p.m.
There will be cooking demonstrations with Angelina’s Pizzeria Napoletana, food tastings from the other restaurants, live musical performances from Irvine Unified School District students, and games, including life-size Jenga and Connect Four. But most important of all: there will be giveaways everywhere featuring gift baskets and gift cards (raffled off every 30 minutes).
And Whole Foods itself will have a grand prize raffle of a $1,000 gift card. Just think of how many asparagus waters that’ll buy!!!
