Those of you who follow the OC food blogging scene and Chowhound should know that our friend and Weekly contributor Professor Salt is passionate for BBQ. He and three friends, all of them food bloggers, make up a competitive BBQ team called Four Q. They've competed in many a BBQ competition.

The next big event for them will be The Ultimate BBQ Showdown in Wildomar on April 17. Winners will vie for over $10,000 in prize money. The event is sponsored by the Wildomar Rotary Club.
If you're curious, Wildomar is located on the I-15 between Lake Elsinore and Temecula, so if you're up for a short drive, you could conceivably root them onward to victory…and taste some great BBQ while you're at it.
