With the glut of lobsters driving down prices, it would probably be unwise to spend the exorbitant entry fees to go to one of the many upcoming lobster-fests. Better perhaps to clarify some butter at home, put out some newspapers out at the picnic table, and then buy your crustaceans at 99 Ranch.
But then let's say you'd rather have someone else dispatch your lobster for you and also let's say you want the money to go to a good cause, like the Make-A-Wish Foundation. If so, then there's the Lobsterfest this Saturday, August 11th at the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
The $55 tickets must be purchased ahead of time online and benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Leadership Tomorrow. The price entitles you to a whole Maine lobster all to yourself (since you didn't think ahead to fatten one up like Homer), along with a buffet of all-you-can-eat items below:
