Lemonade To Open At Fashion Island This Summer

Lemonade, a gourmet cafeteria serving seasonal Southern California comfort food, is expected to open at Fashion Island come mid-July. Headed by chef Alan Jackson and partner Ian Olsen, it will be the chain's twelfth location and first one outside of Los Angeles.

With nearly 4,000 square feet, the restaurant will be one of Lemonade's largest, offering a rotating daily spread of fresh, made-from-scratch hot and cold dishes, braises, soups, sandwiches and salads. Think short ribs falling off the bone, green apple chicken curry, and watermelon radish with ahi tuna and snap peas. Unique to the Newport Beach location will be a Neapolitan-pizza oven, along with hot dinner options. Beer and wine will also be served.

And yes, there will be lemonade. The restaurant is known for concocting innovative flavors such as blueberry mint, ginger peach, watermelon rosemary, passionfruit pepper and spinach pineapple. Yum!

Lemonade will be located adjacent to Island Cinema luxury theater.
