Irvine's Tanaka Farms and the Orange Coast Optimists Club will host Walk The Farm, an event raised to help Japanese farmers impacted by the tsunami and subsequent nuclear accident. A self-guided mile-and-a-half walking tour of Tanaka Farms will include stops along the way to sample fresh produce grown right where you stand.

Your $20 donation will help a select group of farmers in Japan rebuild their lives and will also include:
- Scenic view as you “Walk the Farm”
- Bottled water
- Sampling of fruits and vegetables from around the farm
- Shaved ice
- Hot dog lunch
- The knowledge that you are helping a community to rebuild their farms
