Irvine Korean Cultural Festival This Saturday!

This Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the City of Irvine will host its annual Irvine Korean Festival at City Hall. This is the fifth year of the event. Just like the other years, admission and parking will be free.

There will be traditional Korean dance and two K-Pop dance competitions, a few raffle drawings, a few food demos and at least one Choco Pie eating contest.

As far as this year's food vendors are concerned, expect to see Love Letter, Seoul House, Urban Seoul, Arirang BBQ House, Sootha Cafe, and the food trucks: Belly BombZ, Lime Truck, Tornado Potato, and We Are Froyo.

Ignore the part that Lime Truck and Tornado Potato aren't Korean, and also the City's most recent sister cities debacle, and just hope it's not too sweltering out there on Saturday to enjoy the kimchi.
