A London restaurant serving human-breast-milk ice cream had its supplies confiscated by authorities. The fear is that the frozen treat could harbor hepatitis or other viruses, which can be passed on through milk.

The Icecreamists contends that the milk was pasteurized and mixed with vanilla pods and lemon zest. Victoria Hiley, 35, was also put through a battery of medical tests before donating enough of her bodily fluid to produce the first 50 servings, the restaurant says. The concoction, named Baby Gaga, is served in a martini glass and was selling for £14 each.
