Heather Graham Stars In Korean Food Travel Show

Rollergirl a.k.a. Felicity Shagwell a.k.a. Hollywood bombshell Heather Graham is going to Korea to film a food show tentatively called Kimchi Chronicles. Don't quite get the connection between this glamorous star and kimchi or Korean food? Well, remember that 2008 series that had Gwyneth Paltrow and Mario Batali traipsing through Spain in a show called Spain…On The Road Again? This new show will be produced by the same guy, Charles Pinsky.

I missed the previous series on Spain completely but heard good things (though not from Anthony Bourdain who had this quip for Batali: “Why would you go to Spain with the one bitch who refuses to eat ham?”)

This show may just make up for Paltrow's squeamishness. For one, it sounds as if Graham is not above eating live octopus tentacles like our friend Eddie Lin at Deep End Dining. In an article for Asia One, Graham said “The scariest thing I heard about Korean food was eating live octopus and this sea creature that squirts called sea squirt.”

She will be joined by Marja Vongerichten, the half-Korean wife of chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Together they will “cover cuisines indigenous to Busan, Jeju Island, Jeolla and Gangwon Province”. The upcoming 13-part documentary series will appear on PBS.
