Williams-Sonoma started the domino effect by relocating across the street and (finally) joining home furnishings relatives Macy*s, Crate & Barrel, Z Gallerie, etc. Now that the chocolatier has moved over, this particular wing of South Coast Plaza received a luxury makeover. Roberto Cavalli is now open up there, and Dolce & Gabbana's new digs relaunched the same day as Godiva.
Of course, all we're concerned about is the new location of Godiva. It's actually the original Sugarfina spot-- upstairs, between the Men's J Crew shop and Sephora. If you haven't already picked up something sweet for the Moms in your life, this is where your feet should be walking towards. Fruit forward folks will request those massive chocolate-dipped strawberries. More indulgent types should check out the "Boutique Exclusive" items in the display cases, because SPECULOOS TRUFFLES. There, we said it.
