Get A $1 Pint of Craft Beer (And Clean Up Huntington Beach) This Saturday

Want to do some good and get $a 1 draft pint from Beach City Brewery this weekend? Join the Beach City crew as they host a volunteer project to clean up Huntington Beach this Saturday from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. After the clean up, you get a $1 pint from Beach City.

“We figured after the Surf City Marathon, there might be some extra attention needed down there,” says Glenn Closson, founder of the brewery.

To join in, meet the Beach City team in Huntington Beach at the lifeguard tower off of Goldenwest Street. They will have a booth set up with gear to get cleaning, so don't worry about bringing any supplies like gloves or garbage bags because the boys have got you covered.

Once you've put in your time keeping our beaches beautiful, Beach City will reward you with a $1 pint of their core beers (and select others), such as their crisp Pierside Pilsner or their Hang Ten Double IPA. Dollar pints are available to all volunteers over the age of 21. But don't feel left out if you're underage or if you just don't want to drink. Beach City will also provide craft soda from Beerbakers for all non-beer-drinking beach cleaners. First soda is free for all non-drinkers.

This is the first cleanup hosted by Beach City, but Closson doesn't want it to be the last. The brewery aims to make the event a monthly occurrence and invites all who care for the beach and local brews to meet them this weekend and future weekends.
