“Food Blogging For Dummies” Now Available on Amazon Pre-Order

“Food Blogging For Dummies” is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Where was this book when I started this crazy hobby seven years ago? I coulda learned something.

Written by one Kelly Senyei, who writes the Just a Taste food blog and is the Associate Editor of Gourmet Live at Condé Nast, the how-to book promises to teach you how to “identify your niche, design your site, find your voice, and create
mouthwatering visuals of your best recipes and menus using dazzling
lighting and effects. You'll learn how to optimize your blog for search,
connect with social media, take your blog mobile, add widgets, and much
more.”

For now, it would seem the competing “Idiot” books have not cashed in on the idea. But just you wait!

If you'd rather save your $16.32 or can't wait until April 17th when the
320-page tome is supposed to come out, you can wander over to Wandering Chopsticks,
a fellow food blogger who's been doing this foolhardy errand of writing
about food for as long as I can remember. For the past three years, she
has been building a multi-chapter how-to article of her own entitled, “How to Start a Food Blog… Or What I Wished I Knew When I Started a Food Blog”.

It's not yet complete, but there's some well-thought out information in there she earned and learned by experience.

Or you can read what I do and just do the opposite.
