Last year, I had the privelege of attending the Dining In The Dark Event, an event to benefit The Foundation Fighting Blindness at the Fairmont in Newport Beach. It was an experience that, pun intended, opened my eyes to the seriousness of retinal degenerative diseases. As far as charity dinners go, this is one of the most effective at getting the message across. It was an evening that was enlightening, scary and fun. Read about my experience HERE.
