Cypress College's Culinary School Lunch Lab Continues Until May
A few weeks ago, I posted about Orange Coast College's Spring Semester lunch lab. I hadn't noticed till now that a commenter on that post rightly pointed out that Cypress College has its own Thursday lunch lab that is also worthy of mention. We're already into its third week, but there is still a whole lot more to come till the semester ends in May. Last week, it put out a Louisiana lunch buffet with, among other things, sweet corn muffins, crawfish salad, black-eyed pea salad, cornmeal-crusted catfish and okra, jambalaya, beignets, and bananas Foster with bread pudding for dessert.
On March 3, it's focusing on the foods of the Southwest, which includes such items as grilled nopales salad, ancho chili braised pork and flan.
The cost is $11, and reservations are recommended, with seatings at noon and 12:15 p.m. Make your reservations by firstname.lastname@example.org
