Cortina's Italian Market, Legendary Anaheim Spot, Suffers Damaging Fire :-(

I haven't been to Cortina's Italian Market in a while, but that doesn't mean I don't keep up with it. My brother-in-law swears by its subs, and I always get folks to get me goodies whenever they're there. And I was planning to swing by sometime soon, as the legendary Italian market is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year–but I'm going to have to wait with everyone else because it suffered a fire early this morning that's going to put them out of commission for weeks.

“To all of our loyal friends and customers,” Cortina's wrote on its Facebook page. “We unfortunately suffered a fire this morning. As a result, we will be closed for repairs for several weeks. Our Orange location will be open for business starting Wednesday, May 29. Thank you for your love and support through this difficult time. We will post updates here on Facebook, so feel free to check in with us here.”

We wish Cortina's the speediest recovery possible and will make sure to visit the Orange location–which we were planning to do in the first place. Godspeed. . . .
