As I've said before, I'm a big fan of how food freebies are being doled out these days: by reservation, on the Internet. It's a win-win for everyone: the customer is guaranteed the item while the restaurant doesn't have to overproduce.

Corner Bakery, who did this last year, is at it again. This time instead of a puny serving of mac and
cheese, they're giving away a whole sandwich.
Act now, though. Reservation slots are disappearing faster than you can say “free paninis”.
