Celebrate This Weekend's Game of Thrones Debut With Beer and Costumes at Two OC Breweries

The season four premier of Game of Thrones is this Sunday, and a couple Orange County breweries want you to enjoy that night in true Westeros fashion… minus the beheadings and brothels.

First to gear up for a weekend of nerding out is Tustin Brewing Company. They're hosting an event on Saturday, April 5 around 8:30 and will be tapping some fresh Game of Thrones swill. That's right, the novelty beer from Ommegang Brewery, typically found in bottles in select shops and various corners of the Internet, will be on tap at Tustin Brewing Co.

Last year's Take the Black Stout, as well as the newly released Fire and Blood ale, will be pouring until the kegs tap out. Take the Black is a brooding Belgian stout that, with a hefty kick of boozy warmth, is perfect for those long nights beyond the wall, while its counterpart, Fire and Blood Red Ale, evokes the hot summer days across the narrow sea.

In addition to the themed beer, the Tustin Brewing Co. also plans to show the final two episodes from last season to remind everyone of who died pump everyone up for the next day's premiere.

You'll probably need a day to mourn after rewatching the Red Wedding, and that's why Bottle Logic Brewing has got your back for day two of the epic weekend of ice and fire.

While they won't have the Ommegang beer on draft, they will be debuting two new brews this weekend along with a special medieval-themed cask for the season four premiere Sunday night.

To keep with the theme of the night, The Viking Truck will be outside serving up their famous Dragon Eggs tater tots and Broad Sword hot dogs so you can get your medieval feast on.

Also: be sure to come to Bottle Logic in your best Game of Thrones garb because they're offering discounts off their delicious beer for those who come in costume.
