Los Olivos Marketplace near Irvine Spectrum is open but the new restaurants that would join existing tenants Han Taiwanese Cuisine and the venerable Fukuda are slow in coming.

Just opened there is a branch of Panini Cafe, which makes it the fifth location in OC.

Also open now: Burger Lounge, the San Diego-based chain that started out in 2007 in La Jolla and touting itself as “The Original Grass-Fed Burger”.

Burger Lounge already has multiple locations in San Diego County, a bunch in LA County, and one in Temecula. The Los Olivos Marketplace location is actually now one of two locations of Burger Lounge in OC. Another Burger Lounge opened last week in Costa Mesa at 279 E. 17th Street.

If you haven’t been, Burger Lounge’s signature sandwich is the so-called Lounge Burger made with grass-fed beef and a bun composed from a blend of organic wheat and white flour with molasses.
