Burger Bash Fundraiser for Boys & Girls Club March 9

Food fundraisers feature some of the most lucrative combinations: Girl Scout cookies, pizza parties for soccer leagues and raffles involving hosted dinners are just a few that come to mind. Factor in a worthy cause, and you have the makings of something profitable. Deep pockets can whet their appetite next month to support the Boys & Girls Club of the Harbor Area in Costa Mesa during a second annual battle of burgers called Slide Into Spring.

Unlimited tastes from the likes of Pitfire Artisan Pizza, The Golden Truffle, Wingnuts, Taco Mesa, The Beach Pit BBQ, Blackmarket Bakery and others will be sure to make you stop and go hmmmm. Silent and live auctions will be held for those with a competitive streak. Did we mention it's sponsored by Hi-Time Wine Cellars and Noble Ale Works?

To participate, there are two levels of seating. The $75 option is for individuals wanting the hosted bar during the first hour of the event. The other choice involves a VIP table of 10 for $1,000. In addition to the unlimited burgers and reserved seating, VIP seating will have a hosted bar all evening. We suppose there should be a couple of designated drivers in addition to thirsty bears when booking that one.

Those interested can call (949) 642-2245 to reserve tickets. More information can be found by clicking here. Oh, and we'll be part of the judging panel. Do the 3,100+ youth in Costa Mesa a favor and support their local Boys & Girls Club!
