Bonefish Grill To Open First California Location In Tustin

What is Bonefish Grill? It's a chain of seafood-centric restaurants that started in St. Peterburg, Florida that has gone to expand to 32 states, but until now has not penetrated California. What appears to be the first and probably many Bonefish Grill will open at the The Marketplace in Tustin near In-N-Out where Black Angus once stood.

The building is being constructed as we speak. When it's finished, expect such dishes as parmesan-crusted Rainbow Trout sautéed and topped with artichoke hearts, fresh basil and lemon butter; fish burgers and beef burgers; and bacon-wrapped Atlantic sea scallops topped with chutney. A signature appetizer called Bang Bang Shrimp® (pictured) is also stuffed into tortillas to make tacos.

More news on the opening as it comes.
