For some of you this might be old news, as the video above was made available about a year ago via TED -- a speaker's medium I've always admired featuring lectures from Al Gore to concerts by beatboxers. But it's new to me and made me laugh like no other lecture has done before.
The speech is all about Chinese food and its pervasiveness in not just America, but the world. The speaker, a New York Times journalist with the coolest middle initial in the world (Jennifer 8. Lee), weaves an amazing, funny, enlightening story using pictures, video, and real-life anecdotes to answer questions such as "Who is General Tso and why are we eating his chicken?"
You'll learn something. Trust me. Also she has a book called the Fortune Cookie Chronicles, which I am now planning to put on my Christmas list.
