A Bahamas Vacation Not In Your Budget? Eat At Denny's And You Might Get One For Free
OK, the odds are small: from now until August 31 just 42 diners will snag a five-night trip for two to Nassau (the Wyndham Nassau Resort & Crystal Palace Casino, to be precise).
That's not even one a day.
But someone's got to get lucky, right?
So how do you know if you've won? Customers ordering an entrée plus a signature beverage, Pancake Puppies, soup, salad or dessert are given two scratch cards by their server. One card reveals a free food or beverage item for you next visit, while the other one has a code that you enter via the dedicated website, to see if you're one of the chosen few.
If you're wondering what the hell Pancake Puppies are, they're described on the menu as "lightly-fried pancake-bite appetizers coated in cinnamon-sugar... served six to an order in a sundae glass with pancake syrup for dipping... A fun, tasty treat." Sounds frighteningly unhealthy to me, and if you do order them and then win the trip, you might be regretting it as you pour yourself into your bikini.
Oh, and if you're too cheapskate to eat at Denny's, fear not: the website also includes info on how to get the scratch cards by mail.
