Though Asobi Seksu has a Japanese name (it means "casual sex"--scandalous!) and a Japanese singer, Yuki Chikudate, they're from New York City. The rest of the band are regular ol' whiteys, as you can see from the pic. Asobi Seksu play the Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa tonight, touring off their latest release, Hush, which came out last month. Since their lead singer is an attractive Asian female, there's a chance there might be a higher than usual number of creepy dudes there. Be aware! Tickets are
