The Government has gone Plasma TV crazy: Even though they have an entire cable television channel to carry their lame communications, Santa Ana city officials are spending at least $242,000 more to install 10, 42-inch flat screen TVs at 10 public locations. These TVs will have no sound, and will broadcast city-inspired videos. City Manager David Ream told the Register's Doug Irving that videos will promote "projects we're really proud of." Ream mentioned the privately-owned City Place developme
Worm Attack in Dana Point? TMZ reports that Orange County police are investigating former Los Angeles Laker/Chicago Bull Dennis Rodman for allegedly committing a “crime” inside the Hennessy's Tavern near PCH in Dana Point. The celebrity website says Rodman was accused of slapping a female customer's ass so hard it left a “major mark.”
No word on what part of his anatomy did the slapping.

Let's say you're KOCE-TV Channel 50 head honcho Mel Rogers, and you were presented with the ratings bonanza that was this past weekend's devastating fires in the badlands of northern Orange County. With the advent of digital television, you now have four distinct channels in your capacity. You are also Orange County's public-television station and one of just three TV stations located here (the others being the Trinity Broadcasting Network and KDOC-TV Channel 56). As chairman of the Orange County Transportation Authority, the Transportation Corridor System Board of Directors and the Foothill/Eastern Transportation Corridor Agency (TCA), Tustin City Councilman Jerry Amante (pictured) is all over the news today, reacting bitterly to the Commerce Secretary Carlos M. Gandhi: The Nativo Lopez of India? As an Aztlanista, I always wince when reconquistadores go over the top with illogical arguments justifying amnesty for illegals. I'll never forget when the usually genteel, always sharp Larry Mantle of Airtalk on KPCC-FM 89.3 once ripped into a Chicana activist because her response to some immigration matter was pablum about families. When Mantle pressed, the woman rambled even more. But when I recently read that longtime O.C. yaktivist Nativo Lopez compared h
