The House of Blues in Anaheim plays host to a cadre of vaunted national acts each week--Yes and Asia on Sunday, for instance, with Rx Bandits, Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Pete Yorn coming there soon--but they also have been known to give local bands a chance to play the 1,000-person capacity venue (something that local bands are usually pretty stoked about). It's been a while since we've heard from Fullerton's the Living Suns, one of our favorite local bands, who did the Thursday night residency at Gypsy Lounge in July, but have been pretty quite since then.
