Today is a day with dark undertones in American history. It was on July 6, that two of the greatest artists the United States ever produced died: William Faulkner died on July 6, 1962, and nine years later in 1971, Louis Armstrong died. A dark day indeed. The Weekly has learned that our resident astronomer passed on to the land of the stars. Rochelle "Rockie" Gardiner died at age 70 on October 31. Rockie was the author of the Rockie Horoscope that has graced the pages of our paper since 1995.
