Billed by the Garage Theatre as a dirty whore of a play, this 18th century farce is filled with dildos, dames, trannies and tea, and takes a satirical gallop through love, sex and hate21st century mode. Written by David Grimm and directed by Eric Hamme, Measure for Pleasure producers suggest its the type of thing Moliere would have written if he were alive today, and not busy humping a stage hand. Its the SoCal premiere of the play, and proof that this indie theatrewhich won a couple of awards from the OC and District weeklies last year is, as they put it, never above a cheap laugh or a cheap beer.
