Not just another music festival with the newest up-and-coming bands, All Tomorrow’s Parties are curated by significant artists or bands with complete control over music lineup, spoken word performances and art installations. It becomes less of a music festival and more of a party that the Flaming Lips would want to throw—or the Mars Volta or Sonic Youth. You get the picture. They’ve only been held in New York, the UK and Australia, so the closest we can get to experiencing these parties is the documentary coming to the Art Theatre this week.
