Argentinean born artist Claudio Gallina brings his paintings, drawings, video and installation to the Museum of Latin American Art. The central focus of “El Teatro de la Memoria/A Theater of Memories” seems to be childhood and the classroom, but many of the pieces resemble some fucked up dimension, dripping with a repetitive Escher vibe with a translucent, hazy fog whitewashing subjects and settings, creating dreamlike sequences.
