If you’ve been to a Bob Dylan concert in the past few years, you’ve probably noticed that the old classics—“Like a Rolling Stone,” “Mr. Tambourine Man”—sound a lot different because of changes in the now-67-year-old icon’s voice and alterations in the arrangements due to his own ennui. He has been living with some of these songs for more than 40 years, after all.
