Get the kids out for a day of learning under the guise of an unending array of sugary sweets. The annual “Science of Gingerbread” exhibit at the Discovery Science Center melds together both need and want—you know, like burying the dog's pill in a piece of cheese. This year's exhibit features an impressive display of gingerbread houses constructed by local kids (and future architects by the look of things), as well as photos with Santa Claus, holiday cookie decorating (and eating), a Christmas stage show, and a chance to build and race a candy car in the Gingerbread Derby.
