One of the changes that came to the old Galaxy Theatre—now the Observatory —is a monthly artist-in-residency gig in the Constellation Room. This month, electro pop band Polaris at Noon (AKA Jason Suwito) moves in on Monday nights, and it promises to be a tremendous evening of electronic dance rock. Suwito’s a master remixer (check out his techno grooves of “Pumped Up Kicks” and White Arrows’ “Get Gone”) as well as a top songcrafter in his own right—last summer’s En Pointe, a five-track EP of original material is not only danceable and tranceable, but kicks some serious ass.
