Tired of going to museum events concocted by shiftless promoters to lure patrons into a sparse room rocking a few flaccid cocktail wieners and some badly lit "art" on the wall? It would appear from the night the Museum of Latin American Art has planned, they're against such affairs themselves. The venerable cultural center has packed their En La Noche event with so many activities, patrons may be lucky to walk out on their own will. Featuring a lowrider car showcase, music from DJ Cornejo and Mariachi Fina Estampa and a tour of the museum's "The Good, The Bad, The Ugly?" exhibit led by Long Beach city council member Dr. Robert Garcia, the museum clearly intends on giving people their money's worth.
