Maybe you were the “teens” who emailed in response to our Craigslist ad about a 10-family yard sale, asking for permission to take the leftovers for a “crafts project.” Maybe you were the mild-mannered shopper who inquired what would become of any unsold item. Maybe you never even bothered to shop our sale that day. But shame on us for being naive enough to think that donations planned for the Disabled Veterans charity would be safe overnight on a curb in a Fullerton cul-de-sac; the next morning, every box was gone. We do this sale every year; next year, you may find some “surprises” in the boxes you steal, you thieving scumbags!
