ORIGINAL POST, JAN. 5, 9:36 A.M.: A search is under way in the San Bernardino Mountains this morning for an Irvine woman who has not been seen by her family since last Monday morning, Dec. 29.

After receiving the missing-person report on Lisa Ann Cimbaluk last Tuesday, Irvine Police officials entered the 35-year-old's personal and vehicle information in the state Missing Person database, according to a statement from spokeswoman Farrah Emami. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department informed Irvine Police Sunday that Cimbaluk's vehicle was found near Big Bear by a trail head, says Emami, who notes there were no signs of foul play.

Sheriff's search-and-rescue personnel are now searching the area for Cimbaluk, who is described as white, 5-foot-5 and 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call Irvine Police at 949.724.7200, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Big Bear station at 909.866.0100, or the sheriff's dispatch at 909.387.8313.
