Watch Carmageddon Unfold from Thousands of Feet Above Ground

It's good to be in Orange County. So we don't have the Hollywood Bowl or the Lakers–we also don't have the carpolypse nightmare that will be this weekend on the 405 in LA.
Now there's a way to feel even more smug about your prime coordinates on the SoCal map.
For $400 a couple, Adventure Helicopter Tours will fly you over the Sepulveda Pass so you can watch the end-of-days traffic situation from above.
“It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the 405 empty,” says the company's vice president Vaughn Lusparyan. “There are gonna be people forgetting about the freeway closure. That's gonna be fun.”

The 45-minute escapade includes pre-flight champagne and a tour of other (real) LA landmarks including the Griffith Observatory and Hollywood sign. The company has a Fullerton tarmac, but the choppers for this tour will take off from Whitman Airport in Pacoima.
Go ahead. Point and laugh at the suckers down below. It may cross the line of douchebaggery, but no one can hear you when you're thousands of feet in the air.
