This week hasn’t rained, but showers are forecast for tomorrow and possibly even Monday, bringing more relief to our drought. With the rain comes the rebirth of the Santa Ana River—and with that comes a bunch of shit (literally and figuratively) washed to our beaches. For this week’s Orange Feathers, cartoonist Al Gae took on this unfortunate part of OC living:

Volunteers from Bolsa Chica to Newport Beach have picked up over 100 syringes along with every other kind of waste found on our beaches. Thanks for keeping our us safe, and our beaches beautiful!!!
