[UPDATED with Girl Relative Victim Revealed:] Christopher Raymond Olague, Calvary Chapel Pastor, Accused Anew of Child Molestation

UPDATE, NOV. 29, 2:38 P.M.: We noted yesterday that many commenters to our original post on Christopher Raymond Olague's child molestation arrest defended the Calvary Chapel pastor and demonized the 8-year-old girl who was allegedly paid $40 not to say anything about being victimized. We wondered if Olague's latest arrest on suspicion of committing a lewd act on a child and possessing kiddie porn would diminish that support. Our prayer was answered by a Christian follower who trashed the little girl anew. It seems Olague would have to reveal he's marrying a man to get diehard panties in a bunch.

Re-read the latter comments below, then ask yourself whether these revelations courtesy of the Orange County District Attorney's office (OCDA) might sway the faithful:

  • A 6-year-old female relative of Olague's is among those depicted in the child pornography on the pastor's computer;

  • By the way, those were no innocent family photos, according to Olaque's accusers. They were “graphic, sexually explicit child pornography images“;

  • Here's what he's accused of doing to the 8-year-old in a grocery store parking lot: rubbing
    her legs, thighs and arms; unbuttoning his pants and
    pulling them down slightly; and asking her to kiss him on the
    cheek.

The purpose of the OCDA statement was to announce Olague's arraignment this afternoon on these charges: two
felony counts of lewd acts on a child under 14, one felony count each
of kidnapping for child molest, attempting to dissuade a witness, using a
minor for sex acts, and possession and control of child pornography. He
also faces sentencing enhancement allegations for kidnapping in the
commission of a sexual assault and lewd acts against multiple victims.

If convicted, the Westminster 31-year-old, who is married to a fellow pastor and has five daughters, could be preaching to the prison church choir for 30 years to life–plus an additional 13 years and four months for good measure.

ORIGINAL POST, NOV. 28, 8:49 A.M.: Among the 118 comments to our post on the original arrest of Christopher Raymond Olague–for
allegedly molesting an 8-year-old girl and giving her $40 not to say
anything–were many defending the Calvary Chapel pastor's character and
questioning the girl's account. It will be interesting to see if any
support for the Westminster 39-year-old will melt away with his new
arrest on charges of
committing a lewd act on a second child and possessing images of minors
committing sexual acts.

Olague was originally arrested on Oct. 5 after the 8-year-old Olague picked up for a play date with one of
his five daughters told her mother she was instead driven to a Huntington Beach park grocery store parking lot,
where she was allegedly molested and given $40 not to say anything. The pastor of Refuge Southland Calvary Chapel in Buena Park was
booked into the Huntington Beach city jail on
suspicion of committing a lewd act on a child less than 14
years of age and preventing/dissuading a witness.

He was released from jail after posting $100,000 bail and had a court date on those charges scheduled today. But, here's the deal with child molestation cases, investigators keep working them. A search warrant served on Olague's Westminster home produced a computer that was taken into evidence, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department's Facebook page, which reveals detectives found images of child pornography and information that indicated another child had allegedly been molested.

Based on the new
information, Olague was arrested on the new criminal charges that day before Thanksgiving at a relative's La Palma home and held in lieu of $1 million bail.

Besides being a church pastor–the Refuge Southland website says he's been married for 15 years to fellow pastor Diana Olague–the defendant has been a youth soccer coach. Because he's been in positions of trust with children, authorities fear there may be other victims. He goes by “Pastor Chris,” say cops.
