ORIGINAL POST, JUNE 14, 2:58 P.M.: Do you recognize the man in this drawing?
If so, the Coroner's Division of the Orange County Sheriff's Department would like to hear from you, as the agency is trying to identify the Hispanic or Middle Eastern man found floating in the surf at Bolsa Chica State Beach on Saturday.

The so-called John Doe is believed to be 25 to 35 years old. He stands 6 feet tall and weighs 185 pounds. His hair is black and eyes are brown.
He was discovered at the shoreline near Tower 19 at Bolsa Chica State Beach, adjacent to the campgrounds in Huntington Beach. He was taken to Huntington Beach Hospital, where he

Anyone with information is asked to call the Coroner's Division of Orange County Sheriff's Department at 714.647.7411 and reference case 12-02271-RE.
Once the man is identified, the coroner will set about informing the fellow's family.
The coroner has not yet released a cause of death.
UPDATE, JUNE 18, 2:19 P.M.: According to the Coroner's Division of the Orange County Sheriff's Department, the original description of the fellow gave the wrong hair color. It's black.
