UPDATE, SEPT. 27, 9:41 A.M.: Who knew a celebrity previously lived in the La Habra home Octomom Nadya Suleman has put up for sale?
He or she must have because the single, unemployed mother of 14 has listed the banged-up house that's been appraised at $500,000 at $525,000, noting it was a “celebrity home.”
Um . . . what? She's the celebrity? Someone call the Truth Police.

Octo-pipe organ TMZ has the scoop in a post titled, “Who Wants to OVERPAY for My Celebrity Home?”
The gossip mongers call it a last-ditch effort by Suleman to squeeze more cash out of the fixer-upper before the bank declares it a foreclosure. Besides several future visits to the Home Depot to make the place inhabitable again, amenities include artificial turf in the backyard and a
“desirable” cul-de-sac location.
“If ya want it, better act fast,” advises TMZ, “and also, you should lick yourself, because you must be a sucker.”
ORIGINAL POST, SEPT. 23, 8:58 A.M.: The good news for a certain La Habra neighborhood is Octomom Nadya Suleman is reportedly in the process of moving herself and her brood of 14 children out of her deteriorating house.
The bad news for another nearby neighborhood is the Octomom Media Circus plans to move in soon.
The single mother, who earns a living degrading herself with paid interviews and publicity stunts, has told TMZ that she has not paid her mortgage for three months because she no longer wants to live at 2051 Madonna Ave., La Habra.
She claims it's because she's sick of her neighbors, although her rep apparently conceded to the gossip site that Octo really wants to get rid of the $3,500 monthly payments.
Talk about a short sale: she's apparently trying to sell the place in week for $500,000 before it forecloses. She reportedly owes $450,000. See, she's a genius at finances as well as family planning!
By the way, this latest twist is not to be confused with all those months Octomom publicly whined she was behind on house payments and her lender threatened her with foreclosure because her financial trust apparently had other priorities.
So, what is the potential buyer getting at the house where Suleman famously held a showy garage sale for the media cameras (including . . . gulp . . . ours)? Let's just say it's definitely a fixer-upper, based on the “House in Shambles” video included with the TMZ post.
