ORIGINAL POST, OCT. 11, 4:25 P.M.: Pastor Joseph Angel Olvera, who operates a shelter for at-risk youths at his Lifeline Ministries church in Fullerton, is facing misdemeanor sexual battery charges after a female teen accused the 54-year-old of touching her inappropriately.

The 18-year-old woman alleges that while she was in bed at the church on Aug. 22, Olvera approached her, put his hands under her shirt and fondled her breasts, according to the Fullerton Police Department.
The pastor is accused of slapping her butt as she walked through a church hallway a few days later, add police, who say they were contacted after the second incident.
After the department issued a warrant for Olvera's arrest, he turned himself in and immediately posted $10,000 bail, police say.
But authorities fear there may be other victims and have asked anyone who believes that may be them to call Fullerton Police Det. Ron Bair at 714.738.6762.
UPDATE, OCT. 31, 2:47 P.M.: Pastor Joseph Angel Olvera is scheduled to be arraigned at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the North Justice Center in Fullerton, according to the Orange County District Attorney's office.
He faces two misdemeanor counts of sexual battery and, if convicted, up to a year in jail, $4,000 in fines and mandatory lifetime registration as a sex offender, which would prevent him from preaching in Orange County parks and recreational areas that have established Child Safety Zones.
The hunt for additional possible charges continues. Anyone with information that could help investigators is asked to contact Fullerton Police Detective Ron Bair at 714.738.6762 or Supervising District Attorney Investigator Rigo Betancourt at 714.834.7538.
