[UPDATED, W/FLIER, PHOTO] Daniel Olender, 36-Year-Old Father of Three, Killed After Fight Outside Bar in Downtown Fullerton

ORIGINAL POST, SEPT. 9, 10:25 P.M. The world is slowly going around Fullerton about a fight involving Daniel Olender, 36, of La Habra on Sept. 2 just outside Heroes Bar that has now left the father of three dead–and police and family members are asking for the public's help in identifying his assailants.

There are numerous accounts circulating around town of what happened that night and who was involved, but the only published one so far came from the blog Fullerton Stories, which reported on Friday than a 36-year-old man was in critical condition after an altercation with “two juveniles.” According to police, the 36-year-old brushed against the two, words were exchanged, a shove was initiated, and then one of the juveniles punched the 36-year-old so hard that he fell to the pavement, had his skull cracked, and was left in critical condition. The assailants fled the scene.

Yesterday, flyers started appearing in downtown Fullerton with the following:

Any information on the assault
that claimed the life of our beloved son:
Daniel Olender and father of 3 minor children.
He died on his 36th birthday, after being assaulted here
in front of Heroes on Sunday morning.
