UPDATED: Man Commits Suicide By Jumping Off Mickey & Friends Parking Structure at Disneyland
Not many details have been released, but according to the LA Times, an Anaheim police spokesman has confirmed that a man committed suicide on Sunday evening by jumping off one of the upper floors of the Mickey & Friends parking structure at Disneyland.
The incident occurred sometime prior to 8:45 p.m. Sunday at the parking structure located at the corner of Magic Way and Walnut Street.
Authorities believe the man is in his 40s or early 50s. No identification was found on the body, but a suicide note was discovered.
UPDATE, THURS., OCT. 21, 4:18 P.M.: The man has been identified as Ghassan Trabulsi, 61, of Monrovia. Trabulsi passed away from numerous traumatic injuries as a result of the jump from what police believe to be the top floor of the parking structure, which stands six stories high. Authorities say the suicide note Trabulsi left behind indicated he was undergoing several "personal issues."
