[UPDATED:] Fullerton Snowboarder Dies After Colliding With Trees At Mountain High; Not Wearing Helmet

Update, December 30, 7:00 a.m.: Details are starting to come forward about the young Fullerton male who died from a snowboarding accident. Authorities are saying that when the 24-year-old collided with trees, he was not wearing a helmet. 
The accident happened shortly after 6 p.m., while going down the “Headwall” run.
The name of the man has not yet been released because authorities are still trying to contact his next of kin, who live in Romania.

Limited details have been released, but authorities have reported that a 24-year-old male Fullerton resident was snowboarding Monday evening, around 6 p.m., at Mountain High Ski Resort when he crashed into some trees.

Paramedics transported the man to a local hospital in San Bernardino, where he was pronounced dead in the emergency room shortly after 7 p.m.

The man's name has been withheld until next of kin could be contacted. We will update as details are available.
