Fullerton Police were called the morning of Sept. 27 about the body of a man found in the alley of an industrial area, in the 1800 block of West Commonwealth Avenue between Brookhurst Road
and Gilbert Street.

The homeless man suffered blunt force trauma to the head, Sgt. Andrew Goodrich, the Fullerton PD spokesman, tells the Weekly.
No arrests have been made and no suspects have been named.
UPDATE: The victim has been identified as 56-year-old Andrew Pieatrucat. Originally from Portland, he may have also gone by the name Andrew Petrusiak. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Rob James at 714.738.6728.
