“The Birdman” of Anaheim, who along with his parrots poses for photos with tourists to raise cash, was stabbed multiple times during a fight with another homeless man outside Disneyland last night, authorities say.

Witnesses followed the alleged stabber, later identified as Tony Diep, who was arrested about 100 yards north of the crime scene in the 1500 block of South Harbor Boulevard, according to Anaheim Police Sgt. Jay Gallacher.
“They were involved in some type of argument and the suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim several times,'' Gallacher told City News Service, adding that Diep is expected to be charged with attempted murder.
“The Birdman,” whose name has not been released, was taken to a local hospital in unknown condition. A parrot he had with him was taken by an Orange County Animal Care
control officer.
