This Week in Cowboy Buns

Levi first made blue jeans so that miners could have comfortable, durable pants to work in. Jeans still provide that comfort and durability, but many people now wear them for another reason—asses just look good in jeans. Especially when you're a cowboy.

The Professional Bull Riders bring their show to Arrowhead Pond this weekend. For two nights, cowboys will try will try to ride bucking bulls with names like Chief, Wildeddie and Pasture Master—and try to hang on for eight seconds or longer, with the good cowboys trying for style points. The riders can earn up to 100 points per ride: 50 for the bull's style and 50 for their own.

Founded by 20 professional riders attempting to stray bull riding away from the traditional rodeos, Professional Bull Riders Inc. first got started in 1992. Since then, they have grown to more than 700 riders and currently tour a 31-city circuit. The top 45 money earners get to move on to Las Vegas in October and compete for a $3.2 million bonus.

So go check out the Professional Bull Riders if you're up for something new. Or more specifically, if you dig surveying cowboy butts in jeans, then this show is definitely for you—there should be plenty to spectate, both in the stands as well as the ring.
