This Liberia Flight to Orange County Requires No Mask or Hazmat Suit, Only Flipflops

I didn't even know there were direct flights from Africa at the Santa Ana airport.

My WTF? to United Airlines went unanswered, but don't slip into that Hazmat suit just yet, weary traveler.

The fellow who sent over the photo–founding Weekly editor Will Swaim–says the Liberia in this instance is likely a reference to the city by that name in Costa Rica.

Sure enough, United has flights between John Wayne and Liberia, Costa Rica, with stopovers to and from in Denver or Houston.
