Shayne Lamas, Wife of TheDirty.com's Nik Richie, Reportedly Goes to Hospital with Stress

It's unclear whether the latest hospital is also Hoag, but it is reported Lamas, the daughter of actor Lorenzo Lamas, was not breathing on her own and is expected by doctors to recover. Her father and husband were said to be at her side.

TMZ had previously reported Shayne was 16 weeks pregnant. That was after months of well-publicized martial problems with her husband (real name: Hooman Abedi Karamian), the operator of “slut-shaming” website TheDirty.com.

Shayne Lamas checked into a hospital in March 2013 because of marital stress.

UPDATE NO. 1, FEB. 13, 2:55 P.M.: The husband and father of Shayne Lamas have released statements in light of the reality television personality's improving health.

Nik Richie:

We would like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for the immense support we have received from our family, friends, fans, and media. It is really amazing how everyone has come together for Shayne, Press, and I during this extremely difficult time. Shayne is breathing on her own now and doing better; we have high hopes for a speedy recovery. At this time we are still trying to process everything that happened and we thank everyone again for giving us this time to heal.

Lorenzo Lamas:

We are so very grateful to the hospital personnel and the doctors who saved her life last night. Shayne is aware of her condition and that her family and her husband are here with her and love her so much. She will be remaining in the hospital until her doctors determine that she can be released.

UPDATE NO. 2, FEB. 21, 6:05 A.M.: Shayne Lamas released a statement Thursday that indicates the hospital she was rushed to Feb. 9 after suffering a miscarriag–and where she was on a ventilator and in a sedation-induced coma–was Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo.

Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. I've cried reading the expression of generosity and warmth from everyone. I'm out of ICU at Mission Viejo Hospital. I cannot thank the medical staff here enough for not giving up on me.

Thank you to my father and his wife, my mother, my sisters, my grandmother and New York family, my husband's family, and to my husband for never leaving my side. Nik, your strength can never be measured. I love you. To everyone out there, please donate blood. You can save a life like mine. In loving memory of my son, Rex Jagger Lamas-Richie.

Nik Richie had indicated the day before that his wife's heart stopped on Valentine's Day and a hospital staffer had asked him about naming the child and letting him see, hold and kiss the corpse.
