Shaun Lumachi, Publisher of Long Beach Post, Killed in Florida Auto Accident
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and family of Shaun Lumachi, co-founder and publisher of the Long Beach Post, the website and monthly newspaper devoted to all things Long Beach.The 33-year-old passed away late last night in Florida, victim in a car crash in which he was the sole casualty.
"Shaun was...It seems unbelievable to use the past tense with Shaun, because he embodied a kind of quiet but unflagging energy that seemed a permanent ADVERTISEMENT fixture of this city, this world," wrote LB Post contributor Greggory Moore. "But life is impermanent, and Shaun was alive, to be sure."
The Post's website currently has a black-and-white photo of Lumachi, along with his name and years of life, on the home page. Services are pending.
