Sharknado Gets Live Mystery Science Theater 3000 Treatment Tonight on OC Screens

Sharks. Tornados. Sharknados.

If you thought Sharknado was worthy of Mystery Science Theater 3000 treatment after the intentionally crappy flick premiered on Syfy on July 11, 2013 (and somehow went on to become a worldwide sensation), you are not only in luck but you get to see live Sharknado skewering in Orange County and Long Beach theaters tonight.

And if you can't make it tonight, you can attend a taped second screening Tuesday.

Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett will not be reprising their MST3000 roles of Mike, Tom Servo and Crooooowww. They now sit back and crack wise as RiffTrax, and that's what they'll be doing when “RiffTrax Live: Sharknado” is presented live from the historic State Theater in Minneapolis.

Cameras will catch every Tara Reid joke these guys can think up and more, which will be beamed into these cinemas at 8 tonight:

Regal Aliso Viejo 20, 26701 Aliso Creek Road, Aliso Viejo.
Cinemark Huntington Beach 20, 7777 Edinger Ave., Huntington Beach.
Regal Irvine Spectrum 20, 65 Fortune Drive, Irvine.
Cinemark Cinemark 14, 99 S. Pine Ave., Long Beach.
Regal Long Beach 26, 7501 Carson Blvd., Long Beach.
AMC Orange 30, 20 City Blvd. West., Orange.
Cinemark Orange Stadium Promenade 25, 1701 W. Katella Ave., Orange.

The second screenings at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday are at: Regal Aliso Viejo 20; Regal Irvine Spectrum 20; Regal Long Beach 26; and AMC Orange 30.

Tickets for either screening are available at the theater box offices or online via www.FathomEvents.com.
